Balaji is the founder of RE WASTE CO., a full-stack e-waste management platform on a mission to give waste a second life. With a background in supply chains, sustainability, and finance, he launched RE WASTE CO. to bridge the gap between corporate sustainability goals and on-ground execution replacing harmful waste practices like landfill dumping and incineration with tech-enabled, traceable recovery systems.

Driven by a vision to build a cleaner, circular India, Balaji is committed to making compliance effortless and impact measurable for every brand, manufacturer, and institution the company serves.

From Frustration to Action

This venture began with a simple but disturbing observation, India’s landfills and informal scrapyards are overflowing with discarded electronics, and far too often, these devices are either dumped irresponsibly or incinerated in open air to extract metals. This practice not only releases toxic fumes like dioxins, lead, and mercury into nearby communities but also contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and climate degradation.

Meanwhile, corporations are under increasing regulatory pressure to meet EPR and ESG mandates, yet the infrastructure and transparency needed to comply is either inadequate or fragmented. There is a clear gap between corporate responsibility and ground-level execution and that’s where RE WASTE CO. comes in.

As a founder deeply passionate about climate, supply chains, and circular systems, I decided to act. RE WASTE CO. was born to eliminate harmful waste practices and replace them with a clean, tech-driven alternative, one that delivers measurable impact, full traceability, and long-term value recovery.
